This kit is for the Heirloom Quilt Cardigan by Katryn Seeburger! Knit in separate colorwork squares that are then stitched together with sleeves and edges picked up, this is as portable as a sweater project gets! It's so fun to see how each square turns out as you go, and putting them together is the most satisfying feeling! Yardage for all sizes has been calculated based on the estimates quoted in the pattern with a small margin for error. Your actual usage will vary depending on your gauge and which colors you use the most of. If you're worried about running out of yarn, it's a good idea to add an extra skein to your kit or get creative with mixing and matching colorways. See below for how many skeins will come in your kit:
Size 50" will receive one skein in each color way plus 2 extra Northern Attitude skeins for sleeves and 1 extra Homesick skein for edging, for a total of 9 skeins.
Size 70" will receive one skein in each color way plus 2 extra Northern Attitude skeins for sleeves and 1 extra Homesick skein for edging, for a total of 9 skeins.
Size 78" will receive one skein in each color way plus 3 extra Northern Attitude skeins for sleeves, 1 extra Homesick skein for edging, and 1 extra Stick Season skein for colorwork, for a total of 11 skeins.
This yarn has been dyed using professional acid dyes and has been set during dyeing to reduce bleeding. Great care has been taken to ensure your yarn will not bleed, but it is recommended that you hand wash this yarn separately the first time after knitting to be cautious, especially for darker or more saturated red and blue shades.
I try to capture the colors of my yarns as best I can but unfortunately there are always differences due to monitor configuration. Please keep this in mind when ordering.
